About Coach Schneider
Coach Schneider teaches at Fern Creek Traditional High School. He is married and has one child, William D. Schneider, III (Trey). His wifes name is Lauri Schneider and she is a Rad-tech for Jewish Medical. He graduated from Fern Creek High School in 1996. He played football for the Tigers where he was All-State his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior seasons on the offensive line. He was also the State Powerlifting Champion from 1994 on. He still holds a record at the state meet for combined weight lifted (1015 lbs. for two lifts). He is doing exactly what he wants in life and that is to help young men and women accomplish goals that they set for themselves. He teaches technology in room 230 and loves helping kids learn new and interesting things on the computer. He received his Rank I for Computer Licensure from Indiana University Southeast and brings new and interesting ideals, tools, and websites for his students to use during the course of the year.
He currently is sitting out of coaching this year to spend more time with his loving wife and son. He truly loves football and wants to continue teaching the game to kids. The key to being a good football player is lifting weights in the off-season and becoming big and physical. Once a player develops confidence in his body, playing the game becomes second nature. You must believe in yourself first.
